Adding a new authentication.

Adding a new authentication.

I am completely baffled at what some of the following things mean….can you please help?

Google asks for me to specify an authentication URL and a set of parameters.

What is:
  1. An authentication URL?......Is this just the URL of my own website?
  2. A set of parameters?......I don’t have a clue what a parameter is, or where I would get one from!
Thank you,

Lampwick

Re: Adding a new authentication.

I dont think this applies to your vBulletin forum unless you've got it protected with one of the authentication measures listed. Such as password protecting it with a .htaccess.

Then provind a login will let the google media spider crawl your site to deliver advertisements.

If you have member access only forum where you display adsense ads then create a user id for adsense bot and provide the details to them so that they can crawl the content and serve relevant ads.
