Adsense just dropped to almost nothing for me.

Not my entire account, but for one of my sites. During this time of year, my football site get an extremely hight amount of traffic due to people viewing mock drafts.

Just like last year, as soon as the traffic exploded, my cpc dropped like a rock, while ad clicks have went through the roof.

As much as I hate to do it, I have switched almost all of my adsense locations to YPN. I don't get near the amount of clicks that adsense ads bring, but I am not going to continue to give almost free advertising away to advertisers.

It's crossed my mind. Adsense has been up and down for me. Last two days have been good but today I am struggling for a .20 rpc and that is just ridiculous.

That one site I am talking about has been getting .03 to .05 per click for the past few days, and that is with some of the ads being targeted CPM ads. I can just imagine how crappy the actual clicks are paying.

Can't wait to see the actual numbers after tonight, but according to the estimated earnings, I have made 10 times what I had been making via google on that site with YPN ads.

At this rate, I might do a full switch to YPN. I tried them a few months ago and the ads didn't pay well. IF this is any indication, they have really improved, at least for me.

Cool. Today I am at .36 RPC on Google lol. It's a freaking roller coaster. Never know how good it will be day to day.

What sites are you using YPN on?

Running YPN on sofantasyfootball.com

still have adsense on the home page and some of the old static html pages that I never mess with anymore, but the rest is YPN.

Strangely enough, once I switched, the CPC for my other sites went up. IT is like smart pricing had taken place on the one site, affecting my entire account.

IT is a drop in CTR, but I will take that in trade for improving from .02 per click on that one site up to over .50. Yesterday my cpc was .88 with ypn.

2007 NFL Draft I am getting a Spanish ad there for a Plasma TV. I got one ad for a Football site though.

yeah, the ads are completely irrelevant, but people are still clicking, and the ads are paying great

Most of the clicks are coming from 2007 NFL Mock Draft

Cool. If Adsense keeps struggling much longer I may give YPN another shot
