I'm not scared! ....okay, well maybe a little.

Actually, the reason I asked is because I did that and nothing showed. Now, I've tried it a second time and nothing is showing after a couple of minutes. Should it be immediate or is there something that I have to do in addition since I have a 2nd navbar? The 2nd navbar is on top of the 1st, so I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

adsense ads can take 10 minutes, sometimes longer, to appear

I have them under the navbar, in the profile, every 3 posts, forum display on the bottom and in the archives header and footer. The only adsense I have for registered members is under the navbar the rest is only for guests.

Greek, have any of them outperformed the others?

So far, I have them as the 2nd post of all threads (viewable by both guests and members) and then the one now under the navbar at the top of all pages (viewable only by guests). I'd like to add them wherever others have had success.

I know that Caddyman moves them around and has stated that he has had success with one ad placed as a 'forum'.
