I'm a member of an Ad club here in my town, Topeka, KS. We tend to offer help to other good organizations in the community

I sorta offered to help making a new logo for a Safe Streets plan for Topeka.

I'll post a job brief at the end of this post and let u know what we were thinking of.

We thought of two street signs, like Google Image Result for http://www.rosestudio.com/images/p'tree-signs.jpg

with "Safe Streets" and "Topeka KS" on the signs.

communication objective: To brand the project by giving it cohesion, recognition and identity. With this accomplished, the project will have a discernible appearance creating cohesion with all publications made by the Safe Streets organization promoting the project “Safest Capital City in America.”

primary target audience: City of Topeka and Shawnee County residents

theme (creative tactics, campaign theme): The theme will fall into the parameters and specifications approved by Safe Streets. The tone will show stability, security and solidarity that will accompany the message and evoke emotions regarding a safe capital city. It is designed to depict a secure capital city recognized as Topeka. Its purpose is to instill pride while being recognized as the logo branded to the project.

So.. You ask what you get for this logo work ? Well the one that I feel is best can have a link with the "friends" group for the rest of the year.
If your link is there already, I can add it to my blog sheley.org for the rest of the year.

I wish I could offer 20 or 30$ for the logo, but it's a non profit group from my understanding.

I had let two ppl know about this last week and I ment to post this thread back then but I'm just been to busy.

We have about 2 weeks till our next meeting. Hope to have a few designs to show the group.
