| Re: vB~Impressions I made a new post on the blog about our first style share
not sure why the link doesn't work until you click and try to comment or when you click the title, then you see a link to your thread and your profile
I'll play with it and see if I can make the links work without clicking the blog title.
I want ppl and search engines to see the links |

| Re: vB~Impressions btw just wanted to clear up one thing that may have been misunderstood:
ALL of my styles are css-based. Except for the images, the entire style is css. I don't do the template changes, and big complicated images that change the look of the entire board. TOO many images makes the board load slower. SO I stick with css-based styles.
The SE's will love ya |

| Re: vB~Impressions Hey I stumbled across a wonderful find a couple of days ago.
It's a Hack kind of like GARS for mod/hacks database set-up. You see it on vb.org in the styles and modification/hacks section.
Only I like this one better. The setup is cleaner, less cluttered, PLUS, the "lite" version that I got, is free! They just came out with a "Pro" version that you have to purchase, but I'm going to stick with this and see what it does for me.
Here's a screenie:
Only problem I'm having with it is getting the first post that contains all of the style info, to be the same width as the rest of the thread
Anyone have any ideas? This is a great hack but support on their forum leaves alot to be desired |

| Re: vB~Impressions do you have a link to download ? I'll check it out..
I didn't know there was another option to GARs
does it have it's own templates ? I'd imagine you can just edit those |

| Re: vB~Impressions It does and I fixed it! Also deleted some unnecessary info as well. Here's what it looks like now
Here's the link to the hack. You have to register to d/l it Hack/Mod Database
Don't worry, it's been updated for 3.6.1

maybe it's been fixed in this release | No, the problem I had with that was that if you did not have permision to view the mod databases attachments, then you would not be able to see attachements site wide. Which is not how it should function. Never had time to look at it. So I just fenagled my way around that. |
