this url is a little long
**DELETED DEAD LINK**Are you having any DX conditions? - United Radio Operators - CB Ham Radio Forum[/url]

also, I would use relavent replacements, and make the welcome header an image

for starters

Ok thanks Brandon, now how do (we) fix these problems?

The url? Would you remove some of the title of the forum? Leave United Radio Operators and remove the rest?

There is a funny story behind the relavent replacements. A buddy of mine talked me into buying vBulletin, and also buying vBSEO. He said if I bought it he would set it all up. I said ok, so I bought it, and he set it all up for me.
When the first update came along, I asked him to update my forum he told me he was too busy to do this for me, and that I should do it since it was my forum.
Oh wait I need to tell something on him first.
His forum is pretty big, he installed vBSEO and had the ping back and link backs turned on, and for some reason his forum would crap out sometimes. Kinda like run out of power and sthall. So he shut them all off, said that was the problem.
Now he sets mine up the same way, so I did a little investigating. (He didn't even tell me where the cp was for vBSEO or what the password was to my vBSEO) Keith, over at vBSEO explained to me how to get to my cp.
Well I could not turn my ping backs and link backs on, he had not set the permissions up.
When I tried I did not succeed, so Keith went in and fixed that also for me. Now I could at least turn on the ping backs and link backs. (OH YEA BTW) I changed the password that he (MY BUDDY) would not give to me.

Now that you are up to speed, last week I was reading at vBSEO about relavent replacements. I told my buddy I was going to set mine up and use them.
He said no that they were already in use, that my forum was set up exactly like his, and that it was optimized the best it could possibly be..
So I left it at that. I myself believe he is working against me or was working against me. He owns a Truck Driver forum, and mine is a CB Forum.

So Brandon, how do I fix the relavent replacements?

I started reading about the welcome headers change them to a image, but I got interrupted so I will began back on that.

Thanks for the review......

hmm, sounds like a good buddy..

your RR's are up and working good now

and I added the exact same vbseo settings that I'm using on my site ;)

also, about renaming the forum I was talking about the path "/cb-ham-radio-forum/" but since I've added the shorter url's like I have, you should be okay

ps, I also added a robot.txt file that your friend should have added when he set it up :-/ it's a pretty basic SEO tip.
