We are merging with a small graphics forum

I'd like to welcome all the members from n2dsgn.com to our forums.
I acquired this forum because I feel that graphics discussion and photoshop tutorials will be good for those who want to edit their styles themselves and maybe even a few of the members from n2dsgn have forums and we can help them out as well

This is actually the 2nd time I've posted this, and the 5th time I tried importing the database with vbsetup.
We are having a conflict with a few of our groups, I'm going to setup a dev site with the n2dsgn database and I'll see why the groups are erasing ours.

We lost a few post but when I get everything setup and working smoothly we'll have some great photoshop tutorials and a bunch of graphic designers in the bunch.. We might even be able to make a few of you some money in our marketplace.

I'll take another stab at it in the morning.

yup, with impex but ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP of the DB first

lost a few more post..

anyways.. I have a test site up with the n2designers database on it and it's running 3.7.x
The problem is in their or our usergroup setup.. They did have several mod usergroups.. like super mod, global mod.. they may have been a phpbb2 forum at one time.
Anyways.. when I import them, we lose our two paying groups.. the recipe owners and the vbulletinsetup supporters.. so that is the absolute last think I want to do.
All I can do is keep trying and troubleshooting to try figure out a fix.

I think I tried the import 6 times tonight

and restored the DB 6 times...

Why not remove all their groups? I mean unless its important to the functioning of n2design, it wouldn't make much of an impact and you can alway add mods manually.

I've done that, it's the subscriptions that are stalling us up now.. I'll get it figured out

okay, I think I have it all imported correctly.. everything appears to be here still.. both paid groups are still visible..
I'll start sorting the threads and forums this afternoon
