zoints profile system

Yes I know, at first I wasn't a fan of anything to do with zoints but...
I think these profiles can help out our site, if everyone can take a sec and setup their profiles I'll be adding the zoints tag system again, I'm only adding this because I think it can help the site.

Have you added vbulletin-setup to Zoints, or is this the "Zoints Local" Mod?

I've installed the local mod and profile mod, and yes I've added the site to zoints.
I'll be adding the tagging soon to better integrate with zoints.

I have killed boardtracker like you did since I didn't get one single return from their system (Analytics), wonder if this will help a single bit better via zoints
They write nice code, for sure but ... will anyone hop over here and become regular ???

Lizard King said they he put the zoints tagging system on his site and was getting hits from the tags. I don't know about the profiles, I just wanted to get this site in the webmaster section of their communities,

plus, the tags are showing up like
vbulletin - Members and Communities tagged with vbulletin - Zoints
thats a pr3 page too

In addition to direct referrals from Zoints, all these pages (tags, profiles, blogs, etc) get eaten up by Google. People are getting a ton of search engine referrals from them.

I will see in a few , as said just killed boardtracker... google is still re working all since I set url_rewrite a few weeks ago... I think my PR will drop sharp soon

I disabled it, and took out the cloud, for now I let the robot spider around and copy over... though I'll add a line to robot.txt and remove the account next week end. Seems the adding of the robot is very SEO negative since it doesn't respect url_rewritten and even ads an id in the url, all what we want to avoid

We plan to link to zoints.com/tags from our front page on Zoints soon which should help. We just need to clean out the crap first

That will also increase the PR of those pages nicely.

Add a robots.txt exclusion to /z

By the way Brandon, did you see we released 2.1.2 of the vBulletin product? It allows you to easily change things like the name of the "Zoints" dropdown in the navbar.

1.0.1 of the Zoints Local software is out too which will fix the avatar issue you can see here with Ohiosweetheart. Peggy is always causing problems

Did you do the edit manually or did the automatic template editor do it? If manually, can you doublecheck your edit. If you don't see anything weird, please PM me the contents of that template or submit them via a ticket at Submit a ticket
