Need to add a user to DB

Can someone help me here. I am missing something very minor, but I'm not sure what. The MYSQL manual was a bit confusing.

Thanks.

syntax MSQL 4.1.21

Error

SQL query:

mysql > GRANT ALL ON DB NAME TO username IDENTIFIED BY 'password'

MySQL said: Documentation
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near mysql > GRANT ALL ON DB NAME TO username IDENTIFIED BY 'password' at line 1

Oh, I got it, but now my board has a different issue. Apparently, after the transfer completed, my board is missing a lot of text, links and the log out and log in links.

The entire board loaded, but text in the navbar and other places did not load.

Any ideas what this is?

Re: Need to add a user to DB

To update this, since my board transfer was right around the release of vb 3.6.8 and my database and files had transferred with no problems, all I did was upgrade the board. The problems were fixed in the upgrade.

Only problem I have now is my logout message says "undefined."

Any idea what this could be?

Thanks.

When I did a quick search at vb.org, it came up in just about every hacks thread ? What other hacks do you have installed ?

Oh that's right.
Ok, undefined only comes out at the bottom log out in the footer area, but not the logout in the navbar.

I'm guessing it is something that I did today.

That would be RSS feeds.....

Add to my Google, yahoo etc...

Thanks...

I'll search vb.org and then see what happens........

On the contrary its a style problem. Look in your forumhome template and find logout. Then look at the code. When 3.6.7 came out they changed how it worked. Use the one in navbar for refrence how it worked.
