Fluid hosting only allows 30 simulataneous connections ... where as where I am now allows 50K .... so something doesn't sound good, 30 isn't much. | | Join Date: Mar 2007 | Posts: 306 | Location: Kent, WA | Re: What hosting service do you use? Quote:

While yes i realize thats small windows, but its happening 4-5 times a day atleast on the server I'm on, and its about the most annoying frustrating thing i've ever seen. | I had that problem a little while ago and told them about it and they moved me to a less populated server and haven't had a problem since. vBSetup Team vBulletin Owner Supporters vBulletin Owner | | | Join Date: Aug 2007 | Posts: 197 | Location: Brisbane Australia | Re: What hosting service do you use? I contacted them and they sound OK, only 15 concurrent connections to database though.
Also, with shared plans that say allocate 100gig of storage, well, yeah for web pages but not databases, in this instance the database is limited to 2gig, just things to be aware of.

I`ve seen alot of bad reviews about them, they do have their own DC, but I see they can`t cope with the demands. What are you looking for ? Space/BW ?

What if you email your entire board and the host you get calls it spam etc?
Frankly, it's a mine field out there and after chatting to perhaps 5 different ones and reading review after review I feel dumber for it.
