| Chocolate Coconut Pinwheels Cream butter, shortening and sugar together, and add in other liquids.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours for easier handling.
Make filling: mix all filling ingredients together.
Roll out chocolate dough and cut into 2 1/2 inch squares.
Place squares half inch apart on greased baking sheet.
From each corner towards center cut 1 inch slits.
Drop one level teaspoon of filling on each center.
Fold over every other tip to center to form pinwheel shape.
Sprinkle nuts in center and press firmly to seal. |
