Why not Register and remove some of the ads from vBulletin Setup

To install, upload the images to your images folder following the same structure in the zip.
Then upload the shutter.css file to your forums root, usually your public_html/ folder.
Import the XML with your styles manager.

If you would like to widen the side column version, I'm pretty sure you can just increase the width in the first box of the css settings.
